Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) welcomes CeMAT Southeast Asia 2017
CeMAT Southeast Asia – TransAsia Jakarta – ColdChain Indonesia 2017, a major conference & exhibition for the three pillars of logistics was held successfully for the first time in Indonesia and ASEAN
Jakarta, Indonesia, 6 March 2017 – An international exhibition and conference of intralogistics, technology, external logistics and refrigerated supply chain was held for the first time in Indonesia and ASEAN. Indonesia’s Minister of Transportation, Mr Budi Karya, opened this event.
CeMAT Southeast Asia, TransAsia Jakarta and ColdChain Indonesia 2017 is a combination of three events into one all-inclusive event held on 2-4 March 2017 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City Tangerang Jakarta Indonesia. For the conference and exhibition, the event was organized in partnership by local organizer, Debindo ITE; by German event organizer, Deutsche Messe; UK event organizer, ITE Group and co-organized with the Indonesian Logistic Association (ILA) and the Indonesian Logistic and Forwarders Association (ILFA) and was designed to service industry leaders in intralogistics, logistics/supply chain, standard and refrigerated transportation business sectors.
Many international companies joined this event including Belgium, Czech Republic, China, India, Italy, Japan, Germany, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, Vietnam as well as companies from Indonesia. This event has bought renowned brands including 41 Mulia, Agility Logistics, Aneka Star, Angkasa Pura Logistics, Berca Mandiri Perkasa, DB Schenker, Dunex, the Korean International Trade Association, Lion Metal/ Toya Kanetsu Solutions, MGM Bosco, Pelabuhan Indonesia I, SSI Schaefer, Tiga Pilar Doa and Total Logistics. Furthermore, the conference and exhibition was also sponsored by four main sponsors including; Angkasa Pura Kargom Exlm Bank Indonesia, Pelabuhan Indonesia II and Pelabuhan Indonesia IV.

The three day conference with the theme “Accelerating Interconnectivity: ASEAN and Beyond” feature many speakers around the world, local speakers and policy makes include the Indonesian Minister of Trade, Enggartiasto Lukita, the Deputy Coordinating Minister for Economy, Edy Putra Irawady and the President Director of Angkasa Pura Kargo Denny Fikri. Other speakers of business leaders from around the globe include: Myung Soo Chun, Chairman of Korea Food and Cold Chain Association; George W. Prest, CEO Material Handling Industry of America; Dr. Jonathan Beard, Head of Transportation and Logistics Consultancy in Asia for Arcadis; Sascha Schmell, Managing Director Material Handling & Intralogistics VDMA, Olivier Janin, Secretary General of FEM, Dan Grant Winescott, Senior Director of Technology Ecosystem Expansion, Atlanta USA. Logistic experts from academia included Prof. Caroline Chan from RMIT University Australia and Prof. Dr. Ir. Teuku Yuri M. Zagloel from the University of Indonesia.
